Victoria Stevenson

Victoria Stevenson is a registered nurse and midwife and holds a post graduate diploma in Health Education. She is a CDE of 25 years.
Victoria has worked at the International Diabetes Institute and then established Maroondah Hospital’s Diabetes Education Service. She re-instated and managed diabetes education services at The Alfred and now manages the Diabetes Education Services at Austin Health.
Her recent project work includes the ADS/ADEA Driving Working Party and the ADS Type 1 Diabetes Consulting Skills & Technologies Project. At Austin, she is currently undertaking a study looking at the Psychological Well Being in Young Adults with Type 1 Diabetes.
She is a past Vice President of ADEA and previous National Conference Convenor and was especially thrilled to receive the ADEA’s Jan Baldwin Award. Victoria is on the Boards of Mayfield Education and Deakin University and is a Director of Diabetes Australia Victoria.
