Jane Holmes-Walker is a Staff Specialist at Westmead Hospital since 1998 and a Clinical Associate Professor, Sydney University. She is on the ADS Executive board and is current Chair of the Endocrinology Advanced training committee. Her clinical interests and research are in models of care for the management of diabetes in young adults, use of diabetes technology in clinical care and clinical islet cell transplantation. The latter clinical work expanded her interest in the often overlooked problem of hypoglycemia in diabetes care.
