Jacqueline Kay is the Team Leader and Senior Clinical for General Medicine at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH). Jacqui’s background is in aged care and chronic disease, with over 8 years of experience in Australia and the United Kingdom. Jacqui recently completed an Advanced Practice Physiotherapy for Diabetes project, which was a 6-month Department of Health funded position, to implement evidence-based Physiotherapy to acute inpatients with diabetes at RMH. Prior to this project, Jacqui co-lead two Aged Care quality assurance projects, resulting in three oral presentations at the 2015 Australian Physiotherapy Association Conference, and the 2015 National Allied Health Conference. As a result, Jacqui won best presenter by a clinician for her presentation at the Australian Physiotherapy Conference for ‘Can a culture change make Aged Care a more attractive rotation for junior Physiotherapy staff?’. Jacqui is also currently completing a Masters in Health Services Management.
