Jane Giles is an Advanced Clinical Practice Consultant in Diabetes and the Manager of the Country Health SA Diabetes Service. Jane is a registered nurse and a credentialled diabetes educator with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association. She has further developed her understanding of diabetes management and education by completing a Bachelor of Education in Adult Ed and Educational Computing, and a Master of Nursing - Advanced Nursing Practice.
Jane's current role with Country Health SA includes country wide clinical leadership and mentoring, protocol and policy development, health professional education and strategic planning. Her interests in clinical diabetes management extend across all types of diabetes with a current clinical role consulting with Aboriginal health services.
